V&M Star (Vallourec) Pipe Finishing Mill

New Avenue Architects and Engineers have been providing consulting services for 17 one and two-story internal team buildings inside the 850,000 square foot state of the art plant near Youngstown Ohio.  Not only has this been a great group of projects on a high-paced fast tracked schedule, V&M has opened their arms to ICF construction by implementing New Avenue’s plans utilizing this type of construction to make their buildings cleaner, more energy-efficient, and with more rapid turn-key development.  Several additional buildings are being considered with this ICF construction in this plant and possibly the next facility on their schedule.  Vallourec’s plant is a new state of the art seamless pipe mill in Youngstown, Ohio to meet the growing demand for small diameter pipe resulting from the boom in horizontal drilling of the Ohio Utica-Point Pleasant Shale. The new plant will be capable of producing up to 500,000 metric tons of seamless pipe from 2 3/8” to 7” with the premium product offering and quality standards, some pipe is already being produced.
